FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

The ATAYAL organization is grateful for the support of people who want to make a difference for international cooperation and cultural preservation. Our cultural exchange programs will plant the seeds for breakthrough results, and the realization of this dream can be made possible with YOUR help.

Support Our International Media Development Fund

The ATAYAL organization (USA) and Bridge Studios (Taiwan) are ready to take the important steps of increasing international Austronesian cooperation, in order to clarify and share the Austronesian identity in Taiwan with its Austronesian relatives around the world. This will, in turn, open the doors to tourism and trade for Taiwan.

The organization is now seeking to upgrade its media equipment and develop several projects in 2017. These projects include:

MATA.news Austronesian news network ($5,000) - This web site will be a hub for print news and cultural features from all Austronesian countries.
MataTV news magazine ($94,115) - This 30-minute news magazine will share English-language news and feature stories about Taiwan's Austronesian culture with a widespread international audience.
Austronesian Film Festival ($30,000) - This film festival, which was established in 2013 with the Taproot Cultural Exchange Program, screened Austronesian films from Taiwan, New Zealand and other countries in Taichung, Taitung and Hualien. The Austronesian Film festival will resume and expand in 2016 by partnering with the Wairoa Maori Film Festival. The film festival will include Austronesian filmmakers from more countries in the future, and also have the opportunity to expand throughout Hawaii and the Continental USA.
Media Equipment Fund ($12,000) - This fund will help us to EXPAND our portable multimedia capabilities and SAVE MONEY on our production budgets, as we will no longer need to rent equipment.

Your support will allow us to establish these important programs in 2017.
